Master of Science - BIOCHEMISTRY
 
A two-year program leads to the award of an M.Sc.degree in Biochemistry. Students are offered advanced level theory and practical courses in enzymes, proteins, biochemical and biophysical techniques, molecular biology, cell biology, genetic engineering, immunology, developmental biology, metabolomics, proteomics and bioinformatics. The emphasis is on training students for research. This includes work by second-year students in research laboratories to carry out projectsunder the supervision of faculty members. Students are also required to present critical reviews on various topics in seminars for evaluation.

B.Sc. (General) or B.Sc. (Honours) or an equivalent  undergraduate degree in any branch of life sciences

60% or above marks in qualifying exam.

For Merit based admission

B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi (after 10+2+3)

60% or above marks in qualifying exam.
