The guiding principle of the content creation for the course was to move from the ‘problem’ to the ‘solution’ so that the student is encouraged to think proactively. Each unit starts with some basic questions and activities, which help the learner to relate to IT in daily life and appreciate the importance of ICT skills. Several hands-on activities and projects have been integrated into the content so that learning is not through the traditional ‘chalk-and-talk’ method but through a self-learning mode where the teacher functions as a catalyst facilitating the holistic growth of the learner.
