OBJECTIVES OF THE WEBINAR

  • To highlight the health related and psycho-social challenges and vulnerabilities encountered by the elderly amidst the corona pandemic
  • To understand the implications of the pandemic on the elderly, both in the global and national contexts.
  • To examine the State and Civil Society response in addressing the specific needs and problems of the elderly population
  • To chalk out distinct roles and strategies for stakeholders across varied spectrums, to ensure safety, health and well-being for the elderly.
