Job description:

About Team: Alexa is a virtual assistant developed by Amazon and it’s a voice-controlled AI system. In support of our commitment to enable, expand and enhance our customers experience with Alexa devices, Amazon has developed speech and language technology. We are seeking professionals to transcribe and annotate, who will be based out of our Chennai site. Candidates will be responsible to deliver high quality output within defined SLAs. Specifically, the shortlisted candidates will be expected to:

  1. Provide hands-on transcription and annotation services.
  2. Translate established guidelines into daily work practices.
  3. Work autonomously with minimum direction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 0-3 year of experience.
  • Willingness to work on audio content (with headsets) for at least 7-8 hours in a day.
  • Excellent communication skills in English + Hindi (both oral & written fluency).
  • Good to have native language oral fluency (Punjabi/Marathi/Gujarati/Marathi).
  • Basic analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to deliver acceptable quality of transcripts with minimal guidance.
  • Working knowledge of computers (Basic MS Office related skills) and good typing proficiency.
  • Ability to comprehend multiple accents.
  • Passion to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts.

  1. Design, Evaluation and Preparation of Technical Solutions for Security & Surveillance Equipments which includes Technical Literature, Technical Specs & Commercial Offer as well as Revision/Modification as & when required based on the requirement
  2. Being an active part of the Site Survey Team for analyzing customer requirements for further designing of the solution to be proposed
  3. Interaction with vendors and understanding their product offerings and designing solutions as per the customer requirement
  4. Preparation of Budgetary Proposal with Technical & commercial offer for budget approval in coordination with the help of Sales representative
  5. Preparation of response of RFIs and RFPs with close co-ordination with Sales Team
  6. Being up to date with Defence and Govt. Procurement Procedures a laid down in respective manuals.
  7. Everyday review of RFPs and RFIs being issued by Defence and Government clientele for related product portfolio on e-Portals
  8. Tie-Ups with Service Providers, for sending details of RFPs and RFIs issued on e-Portals with regard to the shared Keywords, on annual basis.
  9. Electronics & Communication background shall be preferred



  1. Work collaboratively with the business and marketing stakeholders, to build and deliver the right marketing response to business strategy, and embed best practice across business, including event delivery, content creation, digital marketing, lead generation, and budget management.
  2. Adapt to work on a diverse range of campaigns and projects; from brand activities and global events, to marketing automation and social media campaigns.
  3. Support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, including campaign/project delivery, contact management, digital and social media, and other critical sales and marketing disciplines. 
  4. Identification of relevant portals on which Company products should be uploaded and regular updating, addressing of enquiries, educating the prospective clients etc. can be done
  5. Contributing to, evaluating and developing, marketing plans and strategies and preparing annual budgeting for the Company’s Marketing Activities.

  3. Regular updating on the website of the latest products, technology, company achievements, etc. in coordination with concerned departments
  4. Assist for Preparation of all marketing collateral, including letters, emails, etc.
  5. Regular coordination on various events to be held in the said domain, industry meetings, conferences, upcoming projects and prospective areas of working.
  6. Regular Coordination with Key Defence Desks for adverts in publications, participation in organized events, etc.



  1. Assist to Manager in planning monitoring and maximizing retail budgets and product inventory, purchasing and sales.
  2. Proper maintain and monitor of the inventory in the SAP (Incoming and Outgoing both).
  3. Assisting in verification of material before taking it in stock.
  4. Conduct regular audits of the store’s physical and practical condition to ensure quality
  5. To give the ideas to make the Store system smooth and more efficiently.
  6. Maintaining of the inventory of the stock to be dispose off.
  7. Monitoring the financial performance of the store.
  8. Analysis the aging of stocks & communicate the management about obsolete Stock
  9. Maintaining statistical and financial records
  10. Coordinating for insurance of material & their renewals that includes transit insurance as well
  11. Maintaining Delivery Challan/Goods Receipt Note details records
  12. Assisting in maintaining proper documentation related to Receipt/Dispatch
  13. Coordinating with “Procurement Department & Logistic Department” for material delivery.
  14. Report generation: details of opening & closing stock, stock report for goods sent on returnable basis.



  1. Ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective release of peacekeeping cargos along with personnel
  2. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement  improvements
  3. Coordinating with supplier for material dispatch at factory with help of purchase department.
  4. To develop and execute logistics support policy, processes and methodologies to general benefit of all mission units.
  5. To negotiate with Transporter at the best price,
  6. Assisting in making arrangement to deliver the material to respective site as per the supply
  7. Preparing material dispatch challan with date, time and all vendor’s details with help of stores
  8. Assisting in maintaining record of copy of bill of entry
  9. Prepare accurate reports for upper management
  10. Assisting in obtaining Delivery Challan signed from delivery site and maintain records & handover the copy to stores for record purpose
  11. Maintaining the record of contact data sheet and vendor details
  12. Getting the material “Insured” before sending to the respective locations
  13. Keeping records of bill of entry, invoice, packing list, air way bill and insurance copy etc
  14. Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues



  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  2. Good Computer knowledge and proficient in MS office
  3. Compensation: 3-3.5 LPA, due consideration shall be given to exceptional candidates
