E-applications are invited through email with a copy of the CV in the prescribed format (indicated below) from highly motivated eligible candidates for the post of a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in ICMR sponsored research project entitled, ''Investigation of the molecular mechanisms of STAT-3 mediated regulation of HPV infection and cervical Carcinogenesis'' (Sanction code-5/13/38/2014-NCD-III), duration of project till December 31, 2020. Essential Qualifications for Senior research fellow:
Candidates should have M.Sc. in Zoology, biomedical sciences, microbiology or any other related field of life Sciences discipline with minimum 55% marks for General Category (50% marks in case of (SC/ST/PH) or equivalent to CGPA grade. UGC/CSIR NET qualified with a minimum of 2 years post M.Sc. research experience.
Fellowship/Salary: 28,000+ HRA (% ) as project guidelines.
Desirable (not mandatory): Experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as Western Blotting, PCR's, Gene cloning, Microscopy etc. Candidate should be able to perform Cell and Tissue Culture Techniques. Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power point), Basic Bioinfomatic skills, Statistical and Image Analysis Softwares like SPSS, and Adobe Photoshop.
